Caring for carers
Online only
Online Recovery College Courses
As carers, we often forget to (or struggle to find time to) make time for ourselves and look after our own wellbeing. During this short workshop, we will look at the signs and symptoms of stress, the unwritten rules carers often place upon themselves, self-compassion, ways to cope with things that we are unable to change, relaxation techniques, and advice from the Carer’s Trust.
This workshop provides an opportunity to switch the focus to you and your wellbeing, helping you to recognise and reflect on your own wellbeing and self-care needs, exploring what looking after yourself looks like.
This workshop is brought to you in partnership with Turning Point Talking Therapies. Once enrolled, we will require you to complete a couple of additional questions to guarantee your place.
