Cooking on a budget

Online Recovery College Courses

As part of our “coping with the cost of living series”, on the 20th October we will be bringing you tips and recipes for cooking and eating well on a tight budget.

We’ll pop our “Eating Well on a Budget” booklet of recipes, tips and suggestions, produced in conjunction with Wakefield Council, on the “News” section of our website in the News section that you can use and share that will fill tummies without emptying wallets.

11am-12pm – We’ll be facilitating an online chat via our Facebook page where you can share your own tips for cooking on a budget, tasty ideas for bulk cooked meals and even ideas for the best places to shop with the rest of our Facebook community. Hopefully you’ll not only share your own tips, but pick up some from others.

You can access these again any time on or after the 20th October as we will leave these available online for you to access, so don’t worry if you won’t be around on this particular date. There’s no need to enrol on this one either as everything will be on our publicly accessible website and Facebook page.

This course is part of our online coping with the cost of living series. If you’d like more support at this time and need some tips on how to manage the increased cost of living, check out the rest of the series:
