CAMHS Resources (co-produced by young people, carers and professionals) have put together these downloadable self-help and support guides for young people and for parents, carers and guardians.

Wakey Wellness provides a virtual ‘one-stop-shop’ for children, young people and families in Wakefield who would like information, guides and support with the emotional health and wellbeing issues which affect children and young people.

Children, young people and families in Wakefield can get information and advice 24/7 on a range of health and wellbeing topics including worries, sadness, managing emotions and healthy relationships with their peers.

You can access the SHOUT 24/7 text messaging service to get hold of a dedicated worker by text, or you can ask for support from Wakefield staff for you or someone you know. Plus they have a list of numbers for urgent help too.

You can now access a specific 16+ area of the WF-I CAN website here, filled with short articles, top tips and useful information from other young people (as well as information and links to other professional services). This 16+ area looks are areas such as transitioning to university, relationships, voting, managing difficult feelings, consent, drink spiking, stress and other mental health support.
